Whitemud Westbound Offramp and Eastbound Onramp Lane Closure at 75 Street
EDMONTON, AB – April 6, 2018 – Starting on or around April 12, 2018, the offramp westbound from Whitemud Drive to 75th Street and the onramp eastbound from 75th Street to Whitemud Drive will each be reduced to one lane to accommodate construction activities in the area. The duration of these lane closures is expected to last approximately four months.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- The westbound offramp from Whitemud Drive to 75th Street and the eastbound onramp from 75th Street to Whitemud Drive will each be reduced to one lane.
- Pedestrian access will vary throughout this closure.
Alternate routes:
- To avoid any potential delays, motorists can use eastbound onramps and westbound offramps for Whitemud Drive at 50th Street and 91st Street.
There will be noise associated with the work. TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations, and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. (City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600).
During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. We appreciate your patience as we build the Valley Line LRT.
