
Whitemud Exit Ramp at 75 Street/66 Street – Lane Closure
EDMONTON, AB – April 20, 2017 – Starting on or around April 24th, motorists can expect single-lane closures on the Whitemud Drive exit ramp at 75 Street so that construction can commence on the LRT Bridge that will span across the freeway. Any delays will be during off-peak hours (9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) and overnight hours (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.).

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Whitemud Drive Exit Ramp at 75 Street traffic will be asked to keep right during the temporary closure of the south side lane
- 75 Street at Whitemud Drive interior lanes will be closed as crews work in the median, and will re-open once the work is completed.
Motorists should expect delays at these intersections during the 2017 Summer season as construction progresses.
Alternate routes:
- To avoid any potential delays, motorists can take 50 Street and 91 Street as alternate routes.
There will be noise associated with the work. TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations, and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
Vehicle and pedestrian traffic impactions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
