Tree Removal Reminder – Muttart

Noise, Notice

 EDMONTON, AB – January 24, 2019 – This is a reminder that the trees just west of the Muttart Conservatory need to be removed to facilitate construction of the Valley Line LRT.

Starting on or about January 29, 2019, TransEd will remove several trees from the area indicated on the attached map. These trees were left in place for as long as possible but construction work requires they now be removed.

With respect to tree removal:

  • TransEd is committed to removing as few trees as possible.
  • TransEd is aware that there are residences in the area and will reduce noise as much as possible.
  • All trees will be removed by a professional arborist.
