Tree Removal in Wagner Park

Noise, Notice

EDMONTON, AB – October 31, 2018 – On or about October 31, 2018, TransEd will remove several trees from the area indicated on the map enclosed. This is to facilitate construction of the Valley Line LRT; specifically, to prepare for the installation of elevated guideways in Wagner Park.

The area has been assessed by biologists for birds and wildlife, in accordance with TransEd’s environmental policy and plan.

This work will not affect vehicle or pedestrian traffic in the area.

With respect to tree removal:

  • TransEd is committed to removing as few trees as possible.
  • TransEd is aware of the businesses adjacent to the area and will reduce noise as best possible during removal.
  • Duration of the work is three days.
