Sidewalk Re-Routing on 102 Avenue

EDMONTON, AB – November 21, 2018 – Starting on or around Friday, November 27, sidewalks along the south side of 102 Avenue, between 96 and 97 Streets will be closed to accommodate underground work on 102 Avenue.

Pedestrians can access the area via the sidewalk along the north side of 102 Avenue.

A walkway will be set up from the west side of 97 Street at 102 Avenue, and crossing 97 Street to the north side of 102 Avenue to facilitate access to parking lots east of 97 Street.

Please note that this work will start earlier in the morning than our regular work hours, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The underground work will last for approximately six months.

Please watch for and follow all construction signs.

TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
