Road Closure, 102 Avenue Westbound

Noise, Notice

June 27, 2023 – On or about July 4, 2023, crews will be working intermittently during the day and occasionally at night on westbound 102 Avenue. Crews will be accessing an underground stormwater retention tank beneath the roadway and LRT tracks to perform maintenance.  This work is expected to take 3 to 4 weeks.  To accommodate this work, the westbound lane of 102 Avenue from 96 Street to 97 Street will be closed intermittently. The sidewalks in the area will remain open. Westbound 102 Avenue motorists can detour around the work area using 96 Street northbound to 102A Avenue.  There will be no access to 102 Avenue westbound from 96 Street southbound.

There may be some noise associated with this work from construction tools and equipment. 

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

• The westbound lane of 102 Avenue between 96 Street and 97 Street will be closed intermittently.

• There will be no access to 102 Avenue westbound from 96 Street southbound

• There may be some noise associated with this work.

During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel and flag persons.
