August 27, 2020 – Starting September 3, 2020, crews will be starting landscaping works on the west side of 85 Street overnight. Crews will be excavating the City side of the front yards and replacing the landscaping.
Crews will be occupying the parking lane on the west side in order to properly excavate the areas. No parking signs will be in place ahead of time.
This will be occurring overnight (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) for approximately 8 weeks.
Starting September 3, 2020, crews will be working overnight in the track bed to pour curbs and gutters, which will last for approximately one week.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Landscaping on the west side of 85 Street overnight.
- There will be noise associated with this work, mainly digging. As much as possible the loudest work will be done earlier in the night.
- Overnight work in the track bed to pour curbs and gutters. There will be noise associated with this work, mainly backup beepers and general construction noise.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained.
During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. We appreciate your patience as we build the Valley Line LRT.
