August 19, 2020 – On or about August 26, 2020, TransEd will be pouring icosit at Strathearn Drive and Connors Road. Icosit is a flexible 2-part polyurethane polymer resin grout that is designed as a vibration absorbing, load-bearing, flexible grout for fixing grooved or T–rails onto concrete slabs, steel bridge decks and tunnel invert slabs. To accommodate this work, access to Strathearn Drive from Connors Road will be closed overnight between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. for two nights.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Connors Road will be inaccessible from Strathearn Drive.
- No through traffic will be allowed during nighttime hours.
- There will be noise and flashing lights while this work is completed.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained.
During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and will obtain an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
