Minor Lane Closure, Muttart Service Road

Noise, Notice

July 12, 2021 – Starting on or about July 19, 2021, crews will be performing curb and gutter works on the Muttart Service Road. Curb and gutter works will include saw-cutting, removal of asphalt, and finishing of concrete curbs. To accommodate this work, one through lane on the Muttart Service Road will be partially closed during the three-week duration of work. Westbound traffic on the Muttart Service Road will be directed to yield to oncoming eastbound traffic. Work will occur during the day and night hours.

There will be noise associated with this work such as beeping alarm noise from the hydrovac truck and saw-cutting. TransEd is committed to doing everything possible to mitigate noise and vibrations during work in this area.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• One through lane on the Muttart Service Road will be partially closed on during for the three-week duration of work. Westbound traffic on the Muttart Service Road will be directed to yield to oncoming eastbound traffic.
• There will be day and overnight noise associated with this work.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained on the north sidewalk, the south east-west sidewalk will be closed for the duration of work.

During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.

TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
