
Minor Lane Closure, Connors Road at Kâhasinîskâk Pedestrian Bridge (Updated)
(Updated) January 9, 2022 – Beginning on or about December 15, 2022, crews will be working during the day along Connors Road near the Kâhasinîskâk pedestrian bridge. Crews and equipment will be completing minor earthworks on the south slope adjacent to the bridge. This work is expected to take about one week.
To accommodate this work, one of the two eastbound lanes of Connors Rd. will be closed between 9:30am to 3:30pm daily immediately adjacent to the bridge. The lane control for the center lane will not be affected by this work. The two westbound lanes will remain available during morning peak hours for downhill traffic traveling into downtown. Pedestrian access on the Kâhasinîskâk Pedestrian Bridge will remain open.
There will be noise associated with this work from construction equipment.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• During the day, between 9:30am to 3:30pm, one of the two eastbound lanes of Connors Rd. adjacent to the Kâhasinîskâk pedestrian bridge will be closed.
• The daily lane closure will be in place until approximately January 9, 2023
• There will be noise associated with this work.
During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
