Minor Lane Closure, Connors Road

Noise, Notice

August 15, 2023 – Beginning on or about August 22, 2023, crews will be working between 9:00am and 3:30pm along Connors Road east of the Kâhasinîskâk pedestrian bridge. Crews and equipment will be installing a new tapered concrete barrier and adjacent landscaping on the south side of the roadway.  This work is expected to take 2 weeks.

To accommodate this work, one of the two eastbound lanes of Connors Rd. will be closed during off-peak hours on weekdays, and during the day on weekends.  The lane control for the center lane will not be affected by this work.  The two westbound lanes will remain available during morning peak hours for downhill traffic traveling into downtown. 

There will be daytime noise associated with this work from construction equipment. 

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

• During weekdays off-peak and on the weekends during the day, one of the two eastbound lanes of Connors Rd. east of the Kâhasinîskâk pedestrian bridge will be closed.

• There will be noise associated with this work.

During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
