Minor Lane Closure, Connors Road (Updated)

Noise, Notice

(Updated) May 9, 2022 – Starting on or about May 16, 2022, TransEd will be continuing work on the concrete retaining wall on Connors Road. This work will occur overnight, for 4 consecutive nights. 

To accommodate this work, one eastbound lane of Connors Road will be closed overnight (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.). The other eastbound lane and the westbound lane will remain open to motorists. 

There will be minimal noise associated with this work such as construction vehicles and portable generators.  In order to not interrupt traffic during the day, crews will perform this work during night hours.  

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas: 

  • One eastbound lane will be closed overnight (9:00 pm to 6:00 am) for 4 consecutive nights, beginning May 16. 
  • There will be noise associated with this work.  
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained. 

During this time, please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. 

TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
