Minor Lane Closure, 66 Street Northbound

October 12, 2022 – Beginning on or about October 17, 2022, for about 2 weeks, TransEd will be working on 66 Street at 31 Avenue. The work involves replacing a short section of the enhanced crosswalk on the south side of 31 Avenue. To accommodate this work, one of the two northbound lanes and the northbound left turn lane will be closed. The work will only occur during the day (7 am to 7 pm). The lanes will remain closed at night.

There will be noise during the day associated with this work to saw cut and remove the concrete and replace with new coloured concrete.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• One of the two northbound lanes of 66 Street at 31 Avenue will be closed and the northbound left turn lane will also be closed from about October 17 to about October 31, 2022
• Pedestrian access across 66 Street will be maintained using the north crosswalk.
• There will be noise associated with this work.
• Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic as needed.

During this time, please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
