Minor Lane Closure, 66 Street (34 Avenue to 38 Avenue)

Noise, Notice

July 20, 2021 – Starting on or about July 26, 2021, crews will be performing paving activities on 66 Street, from 34 Avenue to 38 Avenue. To accommodate this work, one southbound lane on 66 Street and one southbound dedicated left-turn lane on 66 Street will be closed for five nights. This work will occur overnight, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Traffic will be maintained with one shared southbound through lane and left-turn lane and two northbound through lanes on 66 Street.

There will be noise associated with this work; specifically, the sound of heavy equipment (engine noises), back up alarms when necessary, and pavement grinding. In order to not interrupt traffic during the day, crews will have to perform this work during night hours. As much as possible, the noisiest work will be completed earlier in the night.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• One southbound lane on 66 Street and one southbound dedicated left-turn lane on 66 Street will be closed for five nights. This work will occur overnight, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• There will be noise associated with this work.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained. At least three of four crosswalks will always be maintained at the intersection.

During this time, please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.

We ask for your understanding and patience as construction progresses.
