Minor Lane Closure, 66 Street (28 Avenue to 34 Avenue)

Noise, Notice

July 16, 2021 – Starting on or about July 23, 2021, crews will be performing paving activities on 66 Street, from 28 Avenue to 34 Avenue. To accommodate this work, one southbound lane on 66 Street, one southbound dedicated left-turn lane on 66 Street, and one northbound dedicated left-turn lane on 66 Street will be closed intermittently for one week. This work will occur during the nighttime, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Traffic will be maintained with one southbound through lane and one northbound through lane on 66 Street.

There will be noise associated with this work; specifically, the sound of heavy equipment (engine noises), back up alarms when necessary, and pavement grinding. In order to not interrupt traffic during the day, crews will have to perform this work during night hours. As much as possible, the noisiest work will be completed earlier in the night.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• One southbound lane on 66 Street, one southbound dedicated left-turn lane on 66 Street, and one northbound dedicated left-turn lane on 66 Street will be closed overnight for one week. This work will occur during the nighttime, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• There will be noise associated with this work.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained.

During this time, please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.

We ask for your understanding and patience as construction progresses.
