
Minor Lane Closure – 41 Avenue and 66 Street
Update – This work will start on Friday, March 19
March 10, 2021 – Starting on or about March 18, 2021, crews will be obtaining asphalt cores overnight from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on 41 Avenue, west of 66 Street. The cores will be used to document the existing roadway condition. This work is expected to last two nights.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• One southbound through lane will be closed overnight (from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) for two nights.
• Traffic will be maintained with one southbound through lane and two northbound through lanes.
• Flag persons will be on-site to assist pedestrians crossing.
• There will be some noise associated with this work from drilling and hand tools.
During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel and flag persons.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
