Minor Lane Closure, 28 Avenue Westbound

Noise, Notice

June 7, 2023 – Beginning on or about June 14, 2023, crews will be working during the day along 28 Avenue. Crews and equipment will be removing old streetlight foundations and restoring landscaping. This work is expected to take about 3 days.  To accommodate this work, one of the two westbound lanes of 28 Avenue west of 66 Street will be closed from 7:00am to 5:00pm daily. The 66 Street southbound right turn to go west on 28 Avenue will remain open. Pedestrian sidewalks and crosswalks in the area will remain open.    

There will be noise associated with this work from construction equipment. 

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

• During the day, from 7:00am to 5:00pm, one of the two westbound lanes of 28 Avenue just west of 66 Street will be closed.

• There will be noise associated with this work.

During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel and flag persons.
