Minor Lane Closure, 28 Avenue Westbound

Noise, Notice

August 14, 2023 – Beginning on or about August 21, 2023, TransEd will be working intermittently between 9:00am and 3:00pm on 28 Avenue at 66 Street.  Crews will be installing a new streetlight.

To accommodate this work, one of the two westbound lanes of 28 Avenue at 66 Street will be closed intermittently for five days. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

• One of the two westbound lanes of 28 Avenue at 66 Street will be closed intermittently during the day between 9:00am and 3:00pm for five days

• Pedestrian access will be maintained

• There will be noise associated with this work.

• Flaggers may be on hand to direct traffic.

During this time, please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
