
Millbourne Stop Finishing Works
June 11, 2021 – Starting on or about June 18, 2021, crews will be performing finishing works on the Millbourne Stop including concrete finishes and stripping of the forms from the concrete curbs. To accommodate this work, one northbound lane on 66 Street, just north of 38 Avenue will be closed and traffic will be detoured. This work is expected to last one night (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.).
There will be noise associated with this work such as backup alarms and lights from the beacon lights. TransEd is committed to doing everything possible to mitigate noise and vibrations during work in this area.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• One northbound lane on 66 Street, just north of 38 Avenue, will be closed and traffic will be detoured. This work is expected to last one night (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.).
• Flaggers will be on-site to assist with keeping traffic flowing safely.
• There will be overnight noise associated with this work.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained.
During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
