
Churchill Square Noise
February 19, 2020 – Starting on or around February 25, 2020, there will be jackhammering underneath Churchill Square, within the site for the future Churchill Connector.
Crews will be working between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and the work is expected to last approximately one week.
There will be noise associated with this work. TransEd is committed to doing everything possible to mitigate noise and vibrations during work in this area.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Noise around the Churchill Square area between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
