
96 Street Closure
UPDATE: This work will continue into 2020.
EDMONTON, AB – April 30, 2019– Starting on or around May 8, 2019, TransEd crews will be closing 96 Street from Jasper Avenue to the 102 Avenue intersection completely.
There will be noise associated with this work, but TransEd is committed to doing everything possible to mitigate noise and vibrations during work in this area.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- 96 Street will be closed from Jasper Avenue to 102 Avenue intersection.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
