95 Street Lane Closure at Jasper Ave

Noise, Notice, Sidewalk, Vehicle

September 29, 2020 – Starting on or around October 5, 2020, TransEd will be closing the westbound turning lane of 95 Street at Jasper Avenue in order to complete sidewalk tie-ins. 

There will be noise associated with this work. The first part of the work will be the loudest while crews break through and remove the concrete.  This portion of the project will be completed during daytime hours. The remainder of the work will take place during overnight hours (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.)  This work is expected to last two weeks.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • Westbound turning lane closure on 95 Street at Jasper Avenue, however, turns will still be permitted.
  • There will be noise associated with this work.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. We appreciate your patience as we build the Valley Line LRT.
