83 Street and 84 Avenue Closure

THIRD UPDATE: There will be no work over the May long weekend, work will commence again on Tuesday, May 21 for one day and then continue on May 27th for 10 days.

EDMONTON, AB – April 10, 2019 – Starting on or about April 18, 2019, the access at 84 Avenue on 83 Street on the east side will be closed. This closure is to accommodate signaling work that is required for the installation of permanent signals.

This closure will last for approximately ten days and work will be occurring during daytime hours (7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.).

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • Closure of the access at 84 Avenue and 83 Street on the east side.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
