83 Street Access Closure

Noise, Notice, Vehicle

 EDMONTON, AB – November 29, 2018 – Starting on or around December 5, 2018, the alley north of 76 Avenue on the west side of 83 Street will not be accessible via 83 Street due to drainage work in the area. Motorists can use 85 Street instead.

This closure will last for up to two weeks.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • The alley north of 76 Avenue at 83 Street will only be accessible via 85 Street.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. We appreciate your patience as we build the Valley Line LRT.
