Minor Lane Closure, 38 Avenue and 66 Street
Update: This work will start on July 24
June 1, 2021 – Starting on or about June 7, 2021, crews will be performing curb and gutter works and paving activities at the intersection of 38 Avenue and 66 Street. Curb and gutter works will include saw-cutting, removal of asphalt, and finishing of concrete curbs. To accommodate this work, one eastbound dedicated right-turn lane on 38 Avenue will be closed for the four-week duration of work. This work will occur during the daytime, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
There will be noise associated with this work such as beeping alarm noise from the hydrovac truck and saw-cutting. TransEd is committed to doing everything possible to mitigate noise and vibrations during work in this area.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• one eastbound dedicated right-turn lane on 38 Avenue will be closed for the four-week duration of work. This work will occur during the daytime, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• There will be noise associated with this work.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained. At least three of four sidewalks will be maintained at all times at the intersection.
During this time, please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
