
Minor Lane Closure, 66 Street (Hewes Way Intersection)

May 27, 2021 – Starting on or about June 1, 2021, crews will be continuing road paving activities at the Hewes Way and 28 Avenue intersection. To accommodate this work, traffic on 28 Avenue will be maintained with one eastbound lane, one eastbound dedicated left-turn lane, and one westbound through lane. This work will occur during the daytime, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., for 14 days.
There will be noise associated with this work – specifically, the sound of heavy equipment (engine noises), backup alarms when necessary, and pavement grinding. TransEd is committed to doing everything possible to mitigate noise and vibrations during work in this area.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• Traffic on 28 Avenue will be maintained with one eastbound lane, one eastbound dedicated left-turn lane, and one westbound through lane.
• There will be noise associated with this work.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained.
During this time, please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
