Minor Lane Closure, Connors Road
April 23, 2021 – Starting on or about April 30, 2021 crews will be performing concrete works on Connors Road, on the Kâhasinîskâk Pedestrian Bridge. This work will occur overnight for one night only, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
To accommodate this work, one of the eastbound lanes on Connors Road will be closed overnight (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) with the other eastbound lane remaining open to traffic.
There will be noise associated with this work such as concrete pump trucks backing up, as well as concrete pumping and small machinery moving. In order to not interrupt traffic during the day, crews will perform this work during night hours. Crews will endeavor to perform the noisiest works as early in the evening as possible.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• One eastbound lane will be closed during overnight, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• There will be noise associated with this work.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained.
• Flaggers will be on hand to assist traffic.
During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
We ask for your understanding and patience as construction progresses.
