DANGER: Overhead Wires Are Live

Testing of the trains has commenced on the Valley Line Southeast alignment; overhead wires are electrified.  Crews will be carrying out electrification testing to measure electricity distribution and ensure its efficiency along the tracks. It’s important to stay away from all overhead wires.

Coming into contact with overhead wires can cause serious injury and/or death.

FOR YOUR SAFETY:

The overhead wires are live. Do not fly kites, drones, or remote-controlled planes near the wires.

Stay off the tracks at all times unless your crossing is permitted by construction personnel, flaggers or pedestrian walk signs.

Do not jaywalk, and obey all traffic laws.

Please share safety guidelines with your friends and family.

TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and will obtain an overnight work permit, where necessary. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.

We ask for your understanding and patience as testing progresses.
