Whitemud Westbound On Ramp Closure

EDMONTON, AB – September 5, 2019 – Starting on or around September 10, 2019, the westbound on ramp off of 75 Street and Whitemud Drive will be closed between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. for a concrete pour. This closure is for one night only and will reopen September 11, 2019.

Motorists can use 50 Street and 91 Street exits during this time.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • The westbound onramp from 75 Street to Whitemud Drive will be closed overnight.
  • Pedestrian access will vary throughout this closure.

Alternate routes:

  • To avoid any potential delays, motorists can use eastbound onramps and westbound offramps for Whitemud Drive at 50 Street and 91 Street.

There will be noise associated with the work. TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations, and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. (City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600).

During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. We appreciate your patience as we build the Valley Line LRT.
