Whitemud Westbound Offramp Lane Closure at 75 Street

EDMONTON, AB – August 2, 2019 – Starting on or around August 15, 2019, the westbound offramp of the Whitemud overpass at 75 Street/66 Street will be closed overnight for equipment installation.

This work is expected to last two nights, August 15 and 16.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • Overnight closure of the westbound offramp of the Whitemud Drive overpass at 75 Street/66 Street.

Alternate routes:

  • To avoid any potential delays, motorists can use eastbound onramps and westbound offramps for Whitemud Drive at 50th Street and 91st Street.

There will be noise associated with the work. TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations, and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. (City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600).

During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. We appreciate your patience as we build the Valley Line LRT.
