Whitemud Eastbound Lane Shift at 75th Street

EDMONTON, AB – September 21, 2018 – Starting on or around September 28, 2018, Whitemud Drive eastbound will be reduced to one lane to accommodate a concrete pour for the Whitemud LRT bridge. This reconfiguration will only last one night during off-peak hours (between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.). The pour is scheduled for Friday, September 28 with Saturday, September 29 as an alternative in the event of inclement weather.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • During night hours only, Whitemud Drive eastbound will be reduced to one lane.

There will be noise associated with the work. TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations, and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. (City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600).

During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. We appreciate your patience as we build the Valley Line LRT.
