Tree Removals Required

Notice

EDMONTON, AB – July 16, 2019 – Starting on or about July 23, 2019, TransEd will remove three trees from the area indicated on the map enclosed. (Please note, the map does not reflect the current status of the area).

All trees are removed by a professional arborist. These trees were left in place for as long as possible but they need to be removed to facilitate construction of the Valley Line LRT.

Work will occur during daytime hours and removals will only take a couple of hours to complete.

With respect to tree removal:

  • TransEd is committed to removing as few trees as possible.
  • TransEd is aware of the residences in the area and will reduce noise as best possible.
  • All trees will be removed by a professional arborist.
