Temporary Closure of 95 Avenue

Noise, Notice, Vehicle

EDMONTON, AB – August 20, 2019 – Starting on or around August 22, 2019, the westbound lane on 95 Avenue from 85 Street to 87 Street will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic. This closure will only last for two days and the work will occur from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

This closure is necessary to work on the utility vault that is underneath 86 Street. This is a critical area on 95 Avenue. There will be general construction noise associated with this work.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • 95 Avenue between 85 Street and 87 Street will be closed for two days between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m..
  • The access will reopen overnight.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained.
