Sidewalk Closure on 102 Avenue between 100 Street and 99 Street

Sidewalk

July 28, 2020 – Starting on or around August 4, the sidewalk on the south side of 102 Avenue between 100 Street and 99 Street will be closed. Pedestrians can continue east/west by going through Churchill Square or by crossing through the Stanley A. Milner library’s plaza, in front of the building.

The closure will last for approximately six weeks.

This work is to remove and replace the existing sidewalk. There will be noise associated with this work as crews will have to saw cut and break through the existing concrete.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • The sidewalk on the south side of 102 Avenue between 100 Street and 99 Street will be temporarily closed.
  • There will be noise associated with this work, specifically the breaking of concrete. As much as possible, the loudest work will be limited to day time hours.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained in front of the library or through Churchill Square.

Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
