
Sidewalk Closure on 102 Avenue
EDMONTON, AB – July 18, 2019 – Starting on or around July 23, 2019, TransEd will be closing the sidewalk on the north side of 102 Avenue from 100 Street to 100A Street. The pedestrian crossing at 100A Street will be maintained and the sidewalk on the south side of 102 Avenue.
This closure is necessary for drainage work and permanent sidewalk construction in the area.
This closure is expected to last for approximately 12 weeks.
There will be noise associated with this work but TransEd is committed to doing everything possible to mitigate noise and vibrations during work in this area.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Pedestrian access will be maintained on the south side of 102 Avenue between 100 Street and 100A Street.
- The crosswalk at 100A Street will be maintained
