Sidewalk Closure on 102 Avenue

Noise, Notice, Sidewalk

EDMONTON, AB – April 16, 2019– Starting on or around April 23, 2019, TransEd crews will be closing the sidewalk on the north side of 102 Avenue from 101 Street to the Edmonton City Centre mall doors. Three doors at this entrance will be maintained.

This closure will last for approximately two months.  

There will be noise associated with this work, but TransEd is committed to doing everything possible to mitigate noise and vibrations during work in this area.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • Pedestrian access will be maintained on the south sidewalk.

Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
