Noise and Vibration notice – 83 Street and Argyll
EDMONTON, AB – October 26, 2017 – On or around November 6, 2017, crews will begin drilling concrete supports on 83 Street between Argyll Road and 69A Avenue. This work will take approximately a week and a half, finishing around November 15, 2017. Crews will be doing their best to keep work within normal working hours, however some work may need to continue into the night.
Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will not change from the current situation. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. We appreciate your patience as we build the Valley Line LRT.
There will be noise and some vibration associated with the work. TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations, and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. (City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600).
We are doing everything we can to mitigate noise and vibrations during work and night hours in this area. We ask for your understanding and patience as construction progresses. For the most current, up-to-date information in your area, please visit: http://transedlrt.ca/advisories/.
