EDMONTON, AB – June 12, 2018 – Starting on or around June 20, 2018, traffic on the Muttart Service Road will be reduced from two lanes to one lane, southbound only. All access/exit routes will now be left-turn-in left-turn-out due to this change.
The traffic lane will switch between existing and final design roadway to accommodate construction of a retaining wall and installation of a TPSS (traction power sub-station) unit.
This work will last until the end of 2019.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Lane configuration will remain until December 2020.
- Construction will continue in the area until the end of 2019.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained but no access into the construction zone.
Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. We appreciate your patience as we build the Valley Line LRT.
