Minor Lane Closure, Whitemud Drive

Noise, Notice

September 12, 2022 – Beginning on or about September 19, 2022, TransEd will be working on Whitemud Drive in the left westbound lane beneath the 66St/75St bridges to complete minor bridge pier concrete finishing. This work will occur at night during off-peak hours for about 3 nights.

To accommodate this work, the left westbound lane of Whitemud Drive will be closed at night from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

There will be minimal noise (mainly from backup alarms) associated with this work. To not interrupt traffic during peak periods, crews will perform this work during the night.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• Each night the left westbound lane will be closed from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• There will be minimal noise associated with this work.
• Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic.

During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
