Minor Lane Closure, Whitemud Drive

Notice

May 22, 2021 – Starting on or about May 28, 2021, crews will be performing rail maintenance on the Whitemud Drive Overpass at 75 Street. To accommodate this work, one eastbound lane on Whitemud Drive and one westbound lane on Whitemud Drive will be closed, intermittently. This work will occur during the nighttime, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., for 2 nights.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• One eastbound on Whitemud Drive Overpass at 75 Street and one westbound lane on Whitemud Drive will be closed intermittently from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. for two nights.
• Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained.

During this time, please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.

TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. (City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600).
