
Minor Lane Closure, Roper Road and 75 Street
September 10, 2021 – Starting on or about September 16, 2021, crews will be installing the permanent motorist and pedestrian traffic signals at the intersection of Roper Road and 75 Street. To accommodate this work, there will be intermittent single lane closures in each direction at the intersection of Roper Road and 75 Street. This work will occur overnight (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) for one night.
There will be noise associated with this work – mainly the noise from the use of an impact gun to tighten bolts
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• Intermittent single-lane closures in each direction at the intersection of Roper Road and 75 Street. This work will occur overnight (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) for one night.
• There will be overnight noise associated with this work.
• Two of the four pedestrian access will be maintained during this work. After the work is complete, all four pedestrian accesses will be open for use.
During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
