Minor Lane Closure, Connors Road

April 09, 2021 – Starting on or about April 16, 2021 crews will be performing insulation installation for the track slab on Connors Road. This work will occur overnight from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on April 16 to April 18, April 19 to April 23, and April 26 to April 30.

To accommodate this work, one eastbound lane will be closed overnight (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) and traffic will be maintained with one eastbound lane and one westbound lane.
There will be noise associated with this work such as concrete pump trucks backing up, as well as concrete pumping and small machinery moving. In order to not interrupt traffic during the day, crews will have to perform this work during night hours. Crews will endeavor to perform the nosiest works as early in the evening as possible.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• One eastbound lane will be closed during overnight, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• There will be noise associated with this work.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained on the south side of Connors hill.
• Flaggers will be on hand to assist traffic.

During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.

TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
