August 17, 2021 – Starting on or about August 20, 2021, crews will be performing enhanced concrete crosswalk construction activities on 73 Avenue, at 83 Street. To accommodate this work, motorist access from 83 Street to and from 73 Avenue will be intermittently closed. This work will last 2 weeks. Work will occur primarily during the daytime with occasional night work.
During the first phase, crews will be removing the existing roadway at the crosswalk. In the second phase, crews will perform concrete placement activities to install the new enhanced concrete crosswalk. There will be noise associated with this work as crews will have to saw cut and break through the existing roadway. Whenever possible, the noisiest work will be done early in the evening.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• Motorist access from 83 Street to and from 73 Avenue will be intermittently closed. This work will last 2 weeks. Work will occur primarily during the daytime with occasional night work.
