September 30, 2022 – Beginning on or about October 6, 2022, until about mid-October, TransEd will be working during the day at 28 Avenue and 66 Street to replace the southwest concrete sidewalk and curb ramp.

To accommodate this work, one of the two southbound lanes of 66 Street, and the 28 Avenue eastbound right turn lane, will be closed during the day when work is occurring.

There will be noise associated with this work to saw cut and remove the existing concrete and replace with new concrete.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

• From October 6, 2022, to about mid-October, one of the two southbound lanes of 66 Street at 28 Avenue, and the 28 Avenue eastbound right turn lane will be closed during the day when work is occurring.
• 2 of the 4 crosswalks at the intersection will be closed.
• There will be noise associated with this work.
• Flagger persons will be on hand to direct traffic as needed.

During this time, please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.

We ask for your understanding and patience as construction progresses.
