Minor Lane Closure, 102 Street and 102 Avenue

Noise, Notice

June 30, 2021 – Starting on or about July 7, 2021, crews will be performing rail work at the intersection of 102 Street and 102 Avenue. To accommodate this work, one lane on 101 Street will be closed at sporadic times, two-way traffic will always be maintained. This work will occur for one night, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

There will be minimal noise associated with this work, including hand tools.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• One lane on 102 Street will be closed occasionally two-way traffic will always be maintained. This work will occur during the nighttime hours, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• Flaggers will be on-site to assist with traffic.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained.

During this time, please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and directions of construction personnel.

We ask for your understanding and patience as construction progresses.

TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. (City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600).
