Lane Reduction, 92 Street and 95 Avenue
EDMONTON, AB – May 2, 2018 – Starting on or around May 7, 2018, the west side of 92 Street will be reduced to one lane southbound at 95 Avenue for approximately two weeks to accommodate drainage work.
After that work is completed, the east side of 92 Street at 95 Street will be reduced to one lane southbound for an additional two – four weeks.
There will be no pedestrian crossing from east to west, at the south side of the intersection, during the construction period.
All work will take place during daylight hours.
Bus service in the area will be maintained during this period.
This drainage work is expected to be loudest for the first few days as crews break through concrete to reach underground pipes. Once crews have broken through the concrete, they will be working on the drainage system below ground, which will be quieter.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
