Argyll Road & Coronet Road Night Work
October 26, 2020 – Starting on or about November 2, 2020, crews will be performing drainage works on Argyll Road and then on Coronet Road at 83 Street.
The work will begin on Argyll Road where the eastbound curb lane will be closed overnight, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for one week. Once that work is completed, crews will move to Coronet Road where no through access will be permitted during overnight hours, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for one week.
There will be noise associated with this work such saw cutting and noise from a small hydrovac truck. In order to not disrupt traffic during the day, crews will have to perform this work during night hours.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Closure of the eastbound lane on Argyll Road at 83 Street for the first week.
- Closure of Coronet Road at 83 Street for the second week.
- There will be overnight noise associated with this work.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained.
During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
We ask for your understanding and patience as construction progresses.
