Access Closure at 86 Avenue and 83 Street

Notice, Sidewalk, Vehicle

 EDMONTON, AB – August 20, 2018 – Starting on or around August 28, 2018, the access in and out of 86 Avenue east of 83 Street will be closed. This closure will allow crews to complete the sidewalk and asphalt removals in the area.

This closure will last for approximately 8-10 weeks.

As an alternate route, residents can use the back alley or 81 Street to access 81 Avenue.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • Access in and out of 86 Avenue east of 83 Street will be closed.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. We appreciate your patience as we build the Valley Line LRT.
