
95 Avenue Night Work – Pavement Milling 86 St – 90 St
September 9, 2020 – Starting on or about September 11, 2020, crews will be milling pavement at three side streets off 95 Avenue. Crews will be removing the top layer of pavement to prepare the road for final paving in the following areas: 86 Street North of 95 Avenue, 89 Street South of 95 Avenue, and 90 Street North of 95 Ave. This work is expected to occur between 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. for one night.
To accommodate this work, there will be no lane closures and traffic will be able to pass by with the assistance of flaggers. There will be noise associated with this work. Specifically, the sound of heavy equipment (engine noises), back up alarms when necessary, and pavement grinding.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Overnight work on 95 Avenue between 86 Street and 90 Street.
- There will be noise associated with this work
- Vehicle access will be maintained.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained.
During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
