November 19, 2018 – Starting on or about November 23, 2018, TransEd crews will be doing drainage work on 95 Avenue, between 85 Street and 86 Street, as well as from Connors Road to 92 Street, on the north side of 95 Avenue.
The majority of this work will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. however, at times some work may extend until midnight.
This work will last for approximately 10 weeks.
There will be noise associated with the work. With drainage work, construction noise during the first couple of weeks is the loudest. Crews will have to break through the concrete in order to access the pipes underground. Once the first few weeks are over, and crews have broken through the concrete, the work is much quieter as crews will be working on the drainage.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- There will be drainage work on the north side of 95 Avenue between 85 Street and 86 Street, and Connors Road and 92 Street.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained.
